Pall Corporation, a Danaher company, is seeking a Resistance Welder I for the first shift in New Port Richey, FL. The role involves fabricating components to blueprints, using hand and power tools, and completing required documentation. Overtime, including weekends, is routine and on-site work is required.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, blueprint reading, and basic math. Soldering or resistance welding experience is a plus.

The first shift Resistance Welder I fabricates components, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies using various hand and power tools (i.e. shears, micro capacity resistance welding, die size, air ram test, scope, etc.).

The work schedule is Monday thru Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM and overtime, including weekends, is routine. This position is part of the Pall Aerospace Air value stream and will be located onsite in New Port Richey, FL.

This position requires access to export-controlled commodities, technical data, technology, software, and services. U.S. citizenship, U.S. legal permanent resident status, protected person status, or U.S. Government export authorization is required. Any offer of employment is contingent upon Pall obtaining the necessary employment visa and export authorization, including, if required, an export license from the applicable U.S. government agency.

In This Role, You Will Have The Opportunity To

• Fabricate simple parts to blueprint and work instruction specifications and perform related tases as requested.
• Use various hand and power tools (i.e. shears, micro capacity resistance welding, die size, air ram test, scope, etc.).
• Complete all necessary paperwork as required including scorecards, hazard recognitions, routers and data.

The Essential Requirements Of The Job Include

• High School Diploma or equivalent (i.e. GED).
• Prior work experience reading and understanding blueprints; using measuring equipment such as calipers and drop gauges; and basic math skills.
• Work overtime as assigned, including weekends.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements

• Pass visual acuity test.
• Ability to bend, lift, stand, sit, and twist frequently for long periods of time and required lifting weight: 35 pounds.
• Lifting frequency: Daily.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Soldering and or resistance welding
