Job summary

BDO USA is seeking a Resilience Intern in the Advisory practice who will apply their education, analytical and organizational skills to support a dynamic client base. You will assist with design and operationalization of risk and resilience programs, including enterprise risk, business continuity, disaster recovery, crisis management, and insurance, working alongside experienced team members.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required
• Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, MIS, Risk Management is required

Responsibilities

• Assists with development of client solutions including risk analytic frameworks, policies, training materials, plans and procedures
• Participates in engagement fact finding including review of existing client documentation, data and discussions with client contacts
• Supports requirements gathering and documentation for business continuity, disaster recovery, crisis management, third-party risk and enterprise risk programs
• Assists with preparation and tailoring of PowerPoint presentations, reports, workshop materials, client work products and statements of work
• Participates in client workshops and internal working sessions, documenting key discussion points, findings, follow-ups and conclusions
• Compiles program metrics and performs basic research or analysis using documented procedures, available tools and guidance from the engagement team
• Tracks assigned work progress and keeps engagement team members informed of status, open items and potential issues
• Supports business development and internal practice initiatives, including client research and proposal support
• Other duties as required
