Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Specialist to lead company-wide resilience efforts. You will establish a mature BC program, conduct BIAs, set risk thresholds with Risk Management, and ensure vendors comply with BC requirements.

Collaborate with technology partners on disaster recovery plans, plan recovery tests, and deliver awareness training to staff. This role supports audits and leadership with crisis response planning and scorecards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in business continuity management or disaster recovery.
• Self-starter who can work independently and in a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with ISO 22301, NIST SP 800-53/800-3 (as applicable).
• Undergraduate degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or similar, or equivalent.
• Professional certification such as MBCI or CBCP or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Establish and mature a business continuity program aligned with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct and review business impact analyses (BIA) to outline critical processes and recovery objectives.
• Set realistic risk thresholds with Risk Management and help partners manage BC risks.
• Collaborate with Vendor Management to ensure critical vendors meet BC requirements.
• Develop BC plans based on BIA to sustain operations during disruptions.
• Plan and conduct BC exercises and use results to improve the program.
• Work with technology partners on disaster recovery plans for infrastructure and systems.
• Plan technology recovery tests and measure DR capabilities against RTO/RPO objectives.
• Develop and deliver BC awareness and training programs for staff.
• Support audits and maintain enterprise resilience documentation.
• Coordinate crisis response planning and communication with senior leaders.
• Produce BCM program data for scorecards and stakeholder briefings.
