Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a seasoned professional to lead enterprise business continuity and readiness validation. You will own the annual exercise calendar, plan multi-year strategies, and design, facilitate, and evaluate tabletop exercises and simulations using BCM methodologies.

You will develop objectives, scenarios, injects, facilitator guides, and after-action reports while maintaining a Readiness Scorecard for senior leadership. Travel 15–20% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry or military experience.
• 3+ years of progressive experience planning, implementing, or sustaining BCM or related programs.
• Experience designing, facilitating, or evaluating tabletop exercises and drills.
• Experience conducting BIAs and developing recovery/continuity plans.
• Knowledge of BCM principles, recovery strategies, BIA methodologies, and plan-testing.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• U.S. citizenship or eligibility to work in the United States.
• Ability to travel 15–20% and support after-hours/on-call activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise exercise and readiness validation program.
• Own and manage the annual exercise calendar and multi-year program plan.
• Design, plan, facilitate, and evaluate exercises and simulations using BCM methods.
• Develop objectives, scenarios, injects, facilitator guides, and after-action reports.
• Manage the Exercise Improvement Tracking System and action closures.
• Maintain Readiness Scorecard for senior leadership.
• Support resilience engagements with emerging business units.
• Establish BCM capabilities including BIAs, recovery/contingency plans.
• Integrate organizations into continuity and crisis-management programs.
• Translate BIA findings into recovery and crisis plans.
• Maintain continuity documentation and develop readiness dashboards.
• Convert incident lessons into corrective actions with owners and timelines.
• Report readiness status and plan maturity to senior leadership.
