Job summary

QXO in Winter Haven, FL is seeking a Truss Designer to translate architectural plans into accurate truss layouts using Alpine or similar software. You will design residential truss systems, review plans, and prepare design documentation for client review and production release.

The role requires at least 3 years of truss design experience, strong reading of blueprints, attention to detail, and excellent communication with Design, Sales, and Production teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of truss design experience.
• Proficient in reading architectural drawings and blueprints.
• Experience with Alpine or similar truss design software.
• Residential construction knowledge and code familiarity.
• Strong customer-service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design truss systems from drawings and plans.
• Prepare profiles and layouts for review.
• Verify designs meet codes and standards.
• Coordinate with Design, Sales, Production and Operations.
• Review customer changes and update designs.
