Ignitus Recovery is seeking a Residential Therapist (LPC, LCSW) for AIM Health in Boulder, CO. The role provides client-centered clinical services for residential and PHP levels, including assessments, treatment planning, individual and group therapy, and coordination of care.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team, emphasize trauma-informed, culturally responsive practice, and support staff development.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a behavioral health–related field.
  • LPCC, LPC, LSW, LCSW, LMFT, and/or CAS licensure.
  • Experience providing therapy in residential and/or outpatient SUD or co-occurring settings.
  • Knowledge of ASAM criteria, clinical documentation standards, and client safety practices.
  • Proficiency with EHR/EMR systems.

Responsibilities

  • Complete biopsychosocial assessments, risk screenings, and ASAM-aligned clinical evaluations.
  • Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans based on client progress and clinical need.
  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy focused on recovery, safety, and skill development.
  • Facilitate scheduled clinical programming and maintain accurate attendance records.
  • Complete all clinical documentation in the EHR/EMR within required timeframes and regulatory standards.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and coordinate care with internal and external providers.
  • Support discharge planning, aftercare recommendations, and continuity of care across levels of service.
  • Maintain a therapeutic environment that is trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and client-empowering.

Location: Boulder, CO
Type: Full-Time, W-2
Schedule: Mon–Fri, 2-3 evening groups per week.
Compensation: $65,000-90,000 (commensurate with licensure and experience)


Ignitus Recovery is a growing behavioral health organization providing residential and outpatient treatment for substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders at Cherry Hills Recovery and AIM Health in Boulder. This role offers a unique opportunity to help build an exceptional residential treatment program at AIM Health, Boulder focused on treating young adults struggling with substance use disorders and mental health conditions.


The clinician provides client-centered clinical services for residential (RTC)and partial hospitalization (PHP) levels of care. This role is responsible for assessments, treatment planning, individual and group therapy, documentation, and coordination of care using a recovery oriented system of care in a trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and evidence-based approach. Clinicians work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to support client safety, engagement, and long-term recovery outcomes. This role also supports creating a supporting millieu, coaching the BHT staff and supporting client de-escalation.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:



  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a behavioral health–related field

  • LPCC, LPC, LSW, LCSW, LMFT, and or CAS

  • Experience providing therapy in residential and/or outpatient SUD or co-occurring settings

  • Knowledge of ASAM criteria, clinical documentation standards, and client safety practices

  • Proficiency with EHR/EMR systems


Preferred:



  • Strong interpersonal and crisis-management skills.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.

  • CPR/First Aid certification and other state‑required credentials

  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) skills
