Job summary

Sandy Pines is a 149 bed Residential Psychiatric Facility located in sub-tropical South Florida, serving children and adolescents ages 5 to 17. The Therapist is part of a multi-disciplinary team that liaises with the Facility, SAMH Program Office, CBCs, and families to provide clinical and case management services.

As part of Universal Health Services, this role contributes to high-quality psychiatric care in a supportive, family-centered environment with opportunities for professional growth

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in a relevant Human Services Field, with 2 years’ experience working with children and adolescents with serious emotional disturbance, and their families.

Responsibilities

• The Therapist is a member of the multi-disciplinary treatment team who acts as a liaison between the Facility, the SAMH Program Office, the CBC's, and the patient's family.
• Therapists provide clinical and case management services to patients and their families.
