Job summary

HASC Center Inc. is seeking dedicated Residential Staff to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Brooklyn, NY.

You will assist with ADLs, daily living skills, and community integration, following individualized plans and safety procedures. Shifts include 7:00 am–3:00 pm, 3:00 pm–11:00 pm, and 11:00 pm–7:00 am, with a focus on person-centered care and Kosher/Jewish environment adherence.

Qualifications

• Experience with intellectual/developmental disabilities is preferred.
• Good communication skills and teamwork.
• Willingness to take initiative and be flexible.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with ADL and independent living skills per plans.
• Maintain documentation and log data in required systems.
• Promote person-centered supports and respect cultural preferences.
• Move and assist individuals in wheelchairs and during community outings.
• Follow all regulations and complete required trainings and certifications.
• Transport individuals in agency vehicles as needed.
