Job summary

Northeast Kingdom Human Services in Newark, VT is seeking compassionate, reliable aides to support adults with developmental disabilities in a small group home setting. You’ll help individuals build independence through daily living activities, personal care, and a safe, positive living environment.

Shift-based role, nights and weekends. Pay ranges from $19.25 to $23.53 per hour plus comprehensive benefits including education reimbursement, health and dental insurance, a 403(b) retirement plan

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to work with individuals with varying needs and behaviors.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support with daily living activities and personal care.
• Assist individuals in building skills and independence.
• Support individuals with a range of needs, including behavioral challenges.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive home environment.
