Job summary

The Salvation Army North and Central Illinois Division is seeking a part-time Residential Support Specialist to work in Bloomington. You will provide a safe environment for individuals served by our homeless services program, and you will report to the Resident Services Director.

Key duties include answering calls, logging daily activities, coordinating volunteers for meals, ensuring meals meet health standards, and documenting donations and volunteer information.

Responsibilities

• Answering the telephone; providing assistance and information as needed
• Document daily activity in logbook
• Document rule infractions through incident reports
• Coordinate and offer assistance to volunteers as they serve meals
• Ensure that meals are prepared according to health department standards
• Receive and document donations and gifts received
• Maintain volunteer log and paperwork associated with volunteers
• Review log entries since the last time worked for pertinent information

FLSA CATEGORY: Non-Exempt, hourly.

STATUS: Part time – 15-19 hours per week

PAY GRADE: 202

PAY RATE: $15.75 - $18.90 per hour – Entry level wage - $16.00 per hour.
