Job summary

ACMH in Manhattan (Harlem) seeks a part-time Residence Staff member to assist residents with daily living skills, monitor safety, and support crisis intervention as needed. This role involves entry/egress control, shift coverage, meal prep, and light cleaning, with a schedule of Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 7:00am to 3:00pm.

You will document events, maintain logs, lead activities, and coordinate with the Program Director.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Ability to work with people and take responsibility to carry out duties.

Responsibilities

• Monitors entry and egress of residents and guests.
• Assists with crisis intervention and building evacuation when needed.
• Records events, incidents, and building observations in logs.
• Provides meal preparation, setup, serving, and cleanup.
• Organizes social and recreational activities; light cleaning as needed.
• Assists residents in daily living skills and supports maintenance reporting.
