Job summary

Supportive Concepts for Families is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) - Residential Specialist for our team in Reading, PA. We offer paid training, immediate openings, and a sign-on bonus up to $2,000.

You will provide direct care in a residential setting, helping individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities lead fuller, more independent lives. No experience required; we provide comprehensive paid training and NADSP DSP certification opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid Driver's License.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to provide hands-on support and physical assistance when needed.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.
• Preparing meals and assisting with feeding when necessary.
• Supporting daily living skills and independence.
• Helping individuals participate in community activities, appointments, and social events.

What You'll Do
