Job summary

Sunrun Inc. in Bolingbrook, IL is seeking a Certified Hybrid Field Technician to perform site assessments before installation and inspections after installation across multiple job sites. You will collect detailed measurements, evaluate roof conditions, and conduct attic inspections, ensuring adherence to standards and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid state-recognized electrical certification at Journeyman or higher.
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred.
• Experience with PV design/installation is helpful (1+ year).
• Comfortable working on roofs and ladders, in tight spaces.

Responsibilities

• Visit customer homes to collect measurements, photos, and data for solar design.
• Assess roof conditions and electrical service panels to ensure feasibility.
• Climb ladders, walk rooftops, and perform attic inspections as needed.
• Submit survey data using mobile field tools, accurately and timely.
• Perform post-installation inspections for readiness and compliance.
• Coordinate with AHJ and customers to schedule inspections.
• Review installations for readiness and documentation of readiness.

Education

High school diploma or GED

Journeyman Electrical Certification

OSHA 10/30 certification (preferred)
