Located in Maumee, OH, MSG seeks a Civil Engineer – Residential Design to grow our residential portfolio in Columbus, Ohio. You’ll collaborate with senior engineers on feasibility, planning through final design and documentation, working across the

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in civil engineering and relevant certification.
• 5-8 years of experience in residential/site development.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• EIT certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months) with path toward PE licensure.

Responsibilities

• Assist design and preparation of residential site development projects.
• Prepare and review engineering calculations, drawings, and documents.
• Develop feasibility studies, zoning and due-diligence materials.
• Perform stormwater modeling, grading and drainage design.
• Prepare cost estimates and site design plans.
• Coordinate with internal MSG teams (Surveying, Geotechnical, Structural, Traffic, Transportation, Construction).
• Participate in field visits and site observations.
• Support project delivery from concept through construction documentation.
• Complete additional tasks as assigned by senior staff.
