Clark Pest Control, Inc. in Modesto, CA is seeking a Pest Control Technician who enjoys outdoor, independent work helping protect homes from pests. You will perform on-site inspections, treatments, and customer interactions as part of a maintenance program.

No experience is required; you must have a valid driver's license and be able to obtain a pesticide license within 90 days. The role includes paid training, company vehicle, and competitive salary between $55,000 and $64,000 per year.

Responsibilities

• Controlling pests, weeds, lawn fertilization, and related tasks on-site in residential accounts.
• Inspecting residential structures to determine pest presence and severity.
• Creating diagrams and graphs of infestations and locations.
• Discussing work with customers and providing sales solicitations.
• Coordinating with department staff and submitting paperwork and collections daily.
• Performing admin tasks including ordering equipment and submitting reports.
• Determining costs, estimating crew time, and scheduling work.
• Accounting for company funds collected during activities.
• Maintaining company equipment and vehicle in safe condition.

Responsibilities

We are seeking an ambitious and energetic Pest Control Technician that enjoys working independently outdoors to service and protect homes and their surrounding environments from unwanted pest activity. The Pest Control industry is not exactly what it may seem. Pest Control is more of a maintenance program to ensure that our customers don’t suffer from reoccurring pest activity. Like electricians or HVAC technicians, our ultimate goal is to ensure the safety and well-being of the customers that we serve.

What You’ll Do

• Controlling pests, weeds, lawn fertilization, tree/shrub care and other agricultural pests on-site in a variety of residential accounts.
• Physically inspecting a variety of residential structures to determine the presence of pests; calculating the severity of infestations and the degree of structural damage.
• Creating diagrams and graphs indicating the type, degree and location of infestations.
• Discussing with residential customers to discuss work to be accomplished and provide creative sales solicitations
• Coordinating activities with the department secretaries and other branch personnel and submitting all paperwork and collections on a daily basis
• Performing other administrative tasks at the supervisor's direction, including ordering equipment and supplies, compiling and submitting a variety of reports, and calling customers regarding client callbacks and stopped service.
• Determining the costs, estimating the crew time and scheduling work.
• Receiving and properly accounting for company funds collected during the course of business activities.
• Maintaining company issued equipment and vehicle in a clean and safe condition at all times.

Qualifications
