This role works closely with customers, employees, vendors, and leadership to ensure electrical systems are serviced safely, accurately, and in compliance with company and industry standards.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Assist with electrical service, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work on electrical systems and equipment.
  • Review service requests, project plans, specifications, and work orders to support job completion.
  • Support diagnosing and resolving electrical service issues in residential, commercial, or operational environments.
  • Ensure all work is completed in compliance with company policies, safety standards, and applicable electrical codes.
  • Communicate with customers regarding service needs, repairs, and project updates.
  • Coordinate with employees, vendors, subcontractors, and internal departments regarding service activities and operational needs.
  • Maintain accurate service records, reports, and documentation related to electrical work and customer interactions.
  • Support project timelines and assist with resolving operational concerns in the field.
  • Monitor tools, equipment, materials, and job site conditions to support operational efficiency and safety.
  • Assist senior technicians and support field service operations as needed.
  • Maintain professionalism and effective communication throughout all customer and operational interactions.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

  • Basic knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, and troubleshooting techniques.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical documentation.
  • Strong attention to detail and operational awareness.
  • Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficiency in using electrical tools, testing equipment, and related systems.
  • Strong understanding of workplace safety practices and electrical codes.

  • Ability to pass pre-employment screenings such as background and motor vehicle record checks.
  • English speaking, reading, and writing preferred, and required where necessary to perform job duties.

Education/Experience
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous electrical service, maintenance, construction, or related experience preferred.
  • Experience within construction, operations, or service environments preferred.
  • Relevant industry certifications or licenses preferred, and required where necessary to perform job duties.
  • Entry-level experience supporting field service operations or senior technicians preferred.
Physical Requirements
  • Communicate in person, by phone, and through email.
  • Travel as required to support project and operational needs.
  • Stand, walk, climb ladders and stairs, kneel, bend, stoop, crouch, crawl, reach, and lift throughout the workday.
  • Sit for extended periods while driving to and between job sites.
  • Work on active job sites, indoors and outdoors, including attics, crawlspaces, and confined or elevated spaces, with exposure to varying weather, construction noise, dust, and other job site conditions.
  • Wear safety gear such as Personal Protective Equipment.
  • Maintain dependable transportation and consistent, reliable attendance to meet customer service and operational needs.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and make independent decisions within established company policies and procedures.
  • Ability to work overtime, modified schedules, or occasional weekends as business needs require.
  • Perform all work on-site and in person; this is not a remote or hybrid position.
  • Lift, carry, push, and pull at least 50 pounds.
