Job summary

ABACUS Plumbing in Houston is seeking Residential Service Plumbers to join our team. You will diagnose and repair common and complex plumbing issues, work on water heaters and fixtures, and educate customers on their plumbing needs.

Qualifications

• 2-5+ years plumbing experience
• Tradesman, Journeyman, or Master’s license
• Mechanical aptitude
• Good attitude and willingness to learn
• Leak location and repair a plus
• Good analytical skills and attention to detail
• Provide exceptional customer service while on the jobsite
• Results driven in a high-energy environment
• Must be able to follow directions and work independently
• Ability to work in hot, cold, wet climates depending on the weather
• ServiceTitan experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Diagnose common and diverse plumbing emergencies efficiently and accurately and perform plumbing services
• Strong residential service experience and strong troubleshooting skills
• Explaining/educating customers on their plumbing needs at the customer level
• Water Heater replacement and repair
• Fixture Replacement (Faucets, Tubs, and Toilet)
• Thorough understanding of home re-pipes and drain/sewer replacements
• Leak location & repair - under slab, sewer, water, pool, and sprinkler systems
• Making sure all equipment is maintained
• Complete a thorough process of lining and coating
• Communicate professionally and respectfully with customers, office staff and coworkers.
• Be thorough in inspections, and accurate in quoting replacements or repairs
