Responsibilities

• Install, assemble, and maintain plumbing and gas piping systems for standby generators
• Perform gas line installations, pressure testing, and final connections
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing and gas piping systems
• Read and interpret plans, specifications, and installation requirements
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with local codes and regulations
• Collaborate with electrical and installation teams to complete generator projects from start to finish
• Train and mentor helpers and apprentices as needed
• Maintain organized job sites, tools, equipment, and materials
• Follow company safety policies and procedures

Qualifications

• 2+ years plumbing experience required
• Experience with gas piping and gas line installations preferred
• Ability to perform physically demanding work in various environments
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid California Driver's License with a clean driving record
• Ability to pass a background check

Duties May Include

• Driving company box trucks and work vehicles
• Loading and stocking trucks with plumbing and generator installation materials
• Supply house runs
• Installing and laying pipe
• Gas line installation and connections
• Working in attics, crawl spaces, trenches, and confined spaces
• Assisting with generator startup and system testing
• Supporting installation teams as needed
