Job summary

Constellis is seeking a shift supervisor for the Residential Security Officer Contract to oversee RSOs protecting residences of US Government officials. The role provides direct oversight and support across staffed posts.

You will coordinate 24/7 guard coverage, respond to incidents, and ensure uniforms and equipment meet standards. Requirements include US citizenship, background checks, and fitness tests.

Qualifications

  • Three plus years of supervisory experience in either a law enforcement, military, or armed security environment in a similar role.
  • Minimum five years of law enforcement, military or armed security experience with leadership understanding.
  • US Citizen with a Social Security Card.
  • Minimum 21 yrs old.
  • Valid US Driver's License.
  • Pass public trust background investigation conducted by the client and final adjudication by the client.
  • Pass a Physical Agility Test, a firearms qualification practical exercise and a medical evaluation.
  • Undergo a criminal background check processed by the Government.
  • Be free from felony convictions and any misdemeanors of domestic violence per 18 U.S.C.
  • No DUI convictions in last three years.
  • Military service separation, if any, under honorable conditions.
  • Meet all physical and discipline requirements.

  • Assist with scheduling officers in advance of weekly work assignments and cover staffing gaps.
  • Respond to incidents; provide on-scene support and guidance to the RSO workforce.
  • Address minor issues involving uniforms, equipment appearance, and timeliness.
  • In PM's absence, serve as the client contact on current operations of the security force.
  • Work overlaps two 12-hour shifts and may require extended day or weekend hours.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Summary

This position will serve as a shift supervisor on the Residential Security Officer Contract, which provides a security force to protect the residences of multiple US Government officials. The incumbent will provide direct oversight of, and support to, the residential security officers on each of the staffed posts.

Compensation

$47.00/hr + $5.05 HW

Responsibilities
  • The shift supervisor will support the Program Manager (PM) by providing supervision of and support to the Residential Security Officers (RSO) who provide 24/7/365 protection at the residences of multiple Tier I US Government officials.
  • The shift supervisor will assist with scheduling officers in advance of their weekly work assignments and find staffing in the event off call-offs. This may include taking temporary responsibility for staffing the vacated post.
  • The shift supervisor will respond to incidents when available and provide on the scene support and guidance to the RSO workforce.
  • The shift supervisor will address minor issues involving improper uniforms, equipment appearance, and timeliness.
  • In the absence of the PM, the shift supervisor will serve as the point of contact for the client on matters relating to the current operations of the security force.
  • Work is structured to overlap the two 12-hour shifts the security force currently operates on and may require some extended day or weekend hours.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • The best qualified candidates will have three plus years of supervisory experience in either a law enforcement, military, or armed security environment in a similar role
  • The incumbent will have a minimum of five years of law enforcement, military or armed security experience and will be required to demonstrate an understanding of the principles of leadership.
  • US Citizen with a Social Security Card
  • Minimum 21 yrs old
  • Valid US Drivers License
  • Required to pass a public trust background investigation conducted by the client and the decision of the client as to the adjudication is final.
  • Will be required to pass a Physical Agility Test, a firearms qualification practical exercise and a medical evaluation.
  • Undergo a criminal background check processed by the Government
  • Be free from conviction of any felony.
  • Be free from conviction of any misdemeanor crime of domestic violence in accordance with United States Code, Title 18 S.C.
  • 922(g)(9) (Lautenberg).
  • Be free from any convictions for Driving under the Influence in the past three years prior to application.
  • In the case of military service, any separation must have been under honorable conditions.
  • Successfully pass all physical fitness requirements.
  • Possess a solid work history without any significant infractions or discipline.
  • Meet or exceed all position requirements listed in the Statement of Work
  • The position may require extensive sitting, watching monitors, walking around the facility outside in rain, wind or other poor weather conditions and kneeling and stooping to look under or inside vehicles or containers.
  • While performing the duties of this job the employee is frequently required to sit, talk or hear, stand, walk, use hands to handle, or operate objects, tools or controls; and reach with hands and arms.
  • The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, and taste or smell. The employee occasionally lifts and/or moves anything from 10 to 165 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to focus. Work in austere and uncomfortable conditions for prolonged periods, including periods of inclement weather, while performing walking, standing, searching, and surveillance or sitting duties essential to the performance of the security functions.
