Job summary

Concentric is seeking a Residential Security Agent to join our client’s team in Malibu, CA. The RSA will provide on-site security with a customer‑focused approach, monitoring access, supporting incident management, and coordinating emergency response.

The role requires CA guard card, CPR/First Aid certification, and excellent communication. The position is full-time with a rotating night/day schedule and extensive on-foot patrol.

Qualifications

• Requires current CA state guard card for an unarmed position.
• Requires CPR/AED/First Aid certification.
• Experience in high-touch customer service environments preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid Driver’s License is required.
• Must meet physical standards to patrol large properties on foot and assist evacuations.

We are currently looking to hire a Residential Security Agent to join our team embedded with our client in Malibu, CA!

***This position requires working onsite in Malibu, CA. This is a full-time position working 12-hour shifts including 24/7 coverage including weekends and holidays. Schedules will be established in advance for a ‘4/3 and 3/4 ‘ schedule. This will primarily be night shift to start but will ultimately be rotating between day and night shifts (hours are 6-6).

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Residential Security Agent (RSA) will serve a critical security function while maintaining a customer service-focused approach. The RSA will act as a member of the client’s residential physical security team providing onsite security services. The individual will monitor access control systems, support incident management, and coordinate emergency response.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Act to support threat management and emergency response and be the first point of contact for client security needs.
• Monitor and manage camera system, access control technology and other security tools
• Monitor critical facility functions as assigned by the client
• Advise and take action addressing unknown visitors, phone calls, and other contacts
• Maintain excellent rapport and open lines of communications regarding client needs, requests for support, service issues, anddeliverables.
• Provide a high standard of customer service delivery for clients, guests, and staff
• Ensure client deliverables are met across the full suite of security services
• Proactively communicate with clients regarding risks to personnel, property, or privacy
• Ensure completion of any client required plans, surveys, or reports
• Assist with customer service issues to ensure a consistently high level of service
• Communicate with co-workers, management, clients, and others in a courteous and professional manner
• Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• All required licenses and certification requirements, including:
  • Currently this is an unarmed position. Current CA state guard card
  • Must have current CPR/AED/First Aid certificate
• A successful track record operating within a high-touch, customer service environment
• Appropriate professional bearing and customer service skills
• Ability to adapt well to fast paced environments with changing circumstances, direction, and strategy
• High ethical standards with proven ability to handle highly confidential and sensitive information, excellent judgment, discretion, and diplomacy
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Skilled in synthesizing facts, concepts, and principles
• Emotional intelligence and a customer focused approach
• Valid Driver’s License
• Agent must be of a physical standard to be able to:
  • Patrol a large, sprawling property almost entirely on foot, often covering long distances and navigating physically demanding terrain
  • Assist client if injured or need evacuating

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Operational experience with residential security teams, executive protection details and/or high-profile corporate security teams
• Executive Protection and/or Tactical training (Military/Law Enforcement)

SAFETY & GROOMING POLICY:

• For safety reasons, all security personnel must wear their hair in a secure, controlled style while on duty. Hair must be styled or secured so it does not obstruct vision, interfere with equipment, or create a risk of being grabbed during a physical altercation. Acceptable methods include tying, slicking, pinning, braiding or otherwise securing the hair. All facial hair must be either clean shaven or kept neat at all times while on shift.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

• The HSA medical plan covers 100% of the premium for employee-only coverage. The PPO medical plan requires an employee contribution for employee-only coverage. For both plans, Concentric covers a substantial portion of the premium for dependents.
