Job summary

Service Experts LLC is seeking a Residential Sales Consultant to diagnose comfort needs and offer innovative HVAC solutions. This field role blends consultative selling, education, and relationship management, leveraging warm leads and your own pipeline to close residential HVAC and water heater opportunities.

You will partner with our technical team onsite to tailor solutions to each home, stay current on energy-efficient trends, and build lasting customer trust and retention.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree or sales certifications preferred.
• 2+ years of proven sales experience, direct-to-consumer (B2C) preferred.
• Strong business development, negotiation, and closing skills.
• Clear communication to educate customers and present technical concepts.

Welcome! As a Residential Sales Consultant (RSC), you are a trusted advisor for homeowners, diagnosing their comfort needs and offering innovative solutions. This is an outside sales position that blends consultative selling, customer education, and relationship management. You will maximize your success by leveraging internal warm leads, company-provided lead pipelines, and traditional self-generation techniques to close residential HVAC and water heater opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Consultative Selling: Present tailored comfort options for high-efficiency HVAC and water heater systems to new and established customers.
• Customer Experience Champion: Build lasting relationships through a customer-focused approach, ensuring satisfaction, trust, and retention.
• Sales Generation: Drive growth by working both incoming internal leads and your own prospect pipeline to close sales.
• Onsite Collaboration: Partner with our technical team members during site visits to ensure solutions are perfectly tailored to the home’s requirements, fostering a 100% satisfaction experience.
• Industry Expertise: Remain a market expert, staying updated on the latest trends, energy-efficient technology, and innovative service methods.

Desired Skills and Qualifications

• Education: High school degree or GED required. A Bachelor’s degree or related professional sales certifications preferred.
• Experience: 2+ years of proven sales experience, with a preference for direct-to-consumer (B2C) selling.
• Skills: Strong business development abilities, excellent negotiation skills, and a talent for closing sales.
• Communication: Demonstrated ability to educate customers and present technical concepts clearly. Excellent interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to understand customer concerns and translate that into business solutions the business can offer.
• Commitment: A dedication to providing high-quality, customer-focused service.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

Physical Demands

• Ability to navigate residential environments, including climbing ladders and maneuvering in attics, basements, and crawl spaces to accurately assess customer needs.

Flexibility

• Available to work flexible hours to meet customer demand and on-call shifts as needed.
• Ability to consistently demonstrate a positive attendance record.
