Job summary

Pro Work is seeking an experienced Residential Remodeling Carpenter to join our Sanford, FL team. The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of finish carpentry and remodeling experience and can manage projects from start to finish in busy, occupied homes.

You will perform framing, trim, cabinet installation, and layout from blueprints, coordinating with project managers and trades. Strong independent work ethic and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of residential remodeling or finish carpentry experience.
• Experience with kitchens, bathrooms, additions, or whole-home remodels.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• High-quality cabinet installation and finish trim skills.
• Ability to read construction plans and perform accurate layouts.
• Own hand and power tools and reliable transportation.
• Comfortable using a smartphone for scheduling, photos, and daily updates.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass a background check.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform framing, drywall preparation, trim and finish carpentry, door and window installation, and cabinet installation on residential remodeling projects.
• Work independently while managing daily priorities to stay on schedule.
• Read blueprints, elevations, and scopes of work to execute projects accurately.
• Coordinate with the Project Manager and trade partners throughout each project.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite, especially in occupied homes.
• Document daily progress, upload photos, and communicate project updates using JobTread.
• Identify potential issues early and help keep projects moving efficiently.
