Job summary

Brightli is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our IDD residential services in Cape Girardeau, MO. The RN will monitor safety and wellbeing, conduct monthly health assessments, and coordinate with the client’s support team.

The ideal candidate holds a Missouri RN license, CPR/First Aid certification, and can remain calm in crises while documenting care and reporting changes promptly.

Qualifications

• Must be a currently registered, licensed nurse in Missouri.
• Current Missouri RN license and CPR/First Aid certification.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to stay calm in crisis situations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct monthly head-to-toe assessments of each residential client.
• Maintain communication with agency management and the client’s support team.
• Report and document changes in client’s health status and needs.
• Consult with supervisors regarding emergent care and acute medical needs.
• Ensure staff supervision/delegation and specialized instruction are conducted and documented.
• Complete monthly service logs and attend required trainings.
