Odyssey House seeks a Certified Recovery Peer Advocate (CRPA) to support residents in an OASAS Residential Treatment Program. The role involves on-site and community-based coaching, documentation, and advocacy to help participants progress along their recovery journey.

Requirements include CRPA certification (or eligibility within six months of hire) and a high school diploma or GED, with emphasis on cultural competence and strong interpersonal skills.

Qualifikationen

• CRPA certification within six months of hire.

• Six months of community-based recovery experience preferred.
• Ability to deliver culturally competent services.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Provide recovery support within the OASAS Residential Program.
• Document services per regulations and funding agents.
• Deliver on-site and community-based recovery coaching to participants.
• Facilitate Morning, Afternoon and Evening meetings.
• Provide advocacy, outreach, empowerment, and crisis supports as needed.
• Organize activities and participate in trainings and staff meetings.
