Oak Hill is seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Residential Program Worker (RPW) to provide direct support to individuals with Developmental and Intellectual Disabilities. The Substitute RPW at Oak Hill’s Bolton location is required to work an average of 15 hours per month. The role involves providing services based on individual needs in their home and community, including personal care, domestic services, appointments, vocational services, community activities, supervision, and other tasks aligned with individual goals. This is a union position with pay ranging from $18.50 to $19.40 per hour, depending on the shift.

Responsibilities:

  • Collect, record, and chart data for program maintenance, evaluation, and compliance with policies, procedures, licensing, and certification regulations, including electronic records.
  • Maintain participants’ cleanliness, comfort, and well-being; assist with personal hygiene and support the development of self-help and daily living skills.
  • Prepare materials for program activities or projects as needed.
  • Promote health and well-being by encouraging self-administration of medications, administering medications, documenting administration, observing behavioral or physical changes, and reporting issues.
  • Apply Emergency First Aid and CPR procedures to protect participants and staff.
  • Maintain confidentiality by handling participant information with discretion, in accordance with policies and procedures.
