Mental Health Connecticut Inc. (MHC) has an immediate full-time opening for a Program Supervisor in the Torrington area.

The role provides supervision to the Residential Services Program serving four women with trauma histories and long-term psychiatric hospitalizations, with evening shifts and on-call coverage as needed. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or Associate Degree plus three years of experience.
• Familiarity with Connecticut state human service systems and related treatment requirements.
• Proficiency in Office 365 applications (Teams, Outlook, SharePoint).
• Experience supervising staff in a residential program for women with trauma/psychiatric histories.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and supervise all direct care staff to deliver recovery-oriented services across 2nd and 3rd shifts.
• Develop and maintain staff schedules to ensure coverage; may carry a caseload or provide coverage as needed.
• Assist with IRPs, goals, and ADL skill development for participants.
• Screen candidates, conduct interviews, and participate in hires.
• Organize activities or groups; monitor staff performance and participate in reviews.
• Attend meetings, trainings, and conferences; manage time-off approvals and budget items.
