Job summary

Wellmore Behavioral Health is seeking a Residential Technician in Waterbury, CT to supervise and support women and children in our program. You will transport clients to appointments, oversee on-site childcare, lead group sessions, and help clients achieve recovery goals.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Human Services preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record required.
• CPR and First Aid certification required.
• Experience in residential settings preferred.
• Trauma‑informed approach recommended.

Responsibilities

• Supervise clients during shifts to ensure safety and compliance.
• Provide transportation in company vehicle for appointments and outings.
• Offer onsite childcare during therapeutic activities and support parenting skills.
• Facilitate psycho-educational groups on topics like parenting, budgeting, and basic needs.
• Complete shift notes and incident reports as needed.
• Complete supervised drug screens and document results with the clinical team.
• Assist with medication administration under Nurse/Medical Director guidance.
• Assist clients with chores, meal prep, and safe sleep requirements.
• Conduct room searches with supervisor support and bag searches on return from community passes.
• Participate in supervision, team meetings, and trainings as assigned.
