Job summary

Arc Human Services seeks a Residential Program Specialist in Canonsburg, PA to monitor all aspects of residential facilities and ensure the physical, emotional and programmatic needs of consumers are met. You will provide ongoing supervision and support to the Residential Manager, and in their absence, delegate or perform duties as necessary.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher with 1 year direct experience with individuals with an intellectual disability or autism.
• Bachelor’s degree with 2 years direct experience working with individuals with intellectual disability or autism.
• Associate degree (60 credit hours) with 4 years direct experience working with individuals with intellectual disability or autism.
• Minimum of one year supervisory/managerial experience or equivalent per regulatory guidelines.

Summary

Responsible for monitoring all aspects of Arc Human Services’ residential facilities; and for assuring that the physical, emotional and programmatic needs of consumers are met. Responsible for providing ongoing supervision and support to Residential Manager, and in their absence, will delegate or perform their duties as necessary.

Qualifications

• A master’s degree or above from an accredited college or university and 1 year of work experience working directly with individuals with an intellectual disability or autism.
• A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and 2 years of work experience working directly with individuals with an intellectual disability or autism.
• An associate degree or 60 credit hours from an accredited college or university and 4 years of work experience working directly with individuals with an intellectual disability or autism.
• In addition to the designated education requirements and direct experience, and a minimum of one (1) year of supervisory/managerial experience; or any other combination of education and experience acceptable under regulatory guidelines.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record for the past three years. Act 33/34 clearances, FBI Background Check (if not a resident of PA for two years) and valid CPR and First Aid certification.
