Job summary

TURN Community Services in Orem, UT is seeking a full-time Residential Program Assistant to support seven individuals in the Lakeview Residential home. You will work with a Coordinator, 2 Program Assistants and 8 DSPs to aid daily living and community activities.

The role requires 6+ months experience with developmental disabilities, reliable transport, a valid license, and willingness to drive large vehicles. We offer competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of experience working with individuals with Developmental/intellectual disabilities
• Ability to complete required training within 3 months of employment
• Ability to produce and review typed business letters, reports, and accurate numerical records
• Personal and reliable transportation
• Valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and proof of insurance
• Ability and willingness to drive large program buses and vans, as well as training new employees to drive large vehicles
• Working knowledge of Therap
• Proficient computer skills
• Leadership skills

Responsibilities

• Assist with high medical and personal care needs
• Support daily living activities and community outings
• Train and supervise staff and coordinate activities
• Manage menu planning, shopping, and appointments
• Assist with client finances and in-home/community planning
