Job summary

Public Service Plumbers in Dallas seeks Plumbing Installers to carry out residential plumbing system installations, diagnose problems, and communicate upgrade options to homeowners.

You will install and repair plumbing systems, stay compliant with codes, and mentor apprentices while delivering high-quality service. A strong emphasis on safety, customer satisfaction, and teamwork is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with diagnostic troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of residential plumbing, water heaters, tankless, and filtration.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
• Plumbing license or able to obtain within 6 months.
• Ability to provide repair versus replacement options to customers.
• Knowledge of drain machines, camera, and locator equipment.
• Knowledgeable and skilled in the safe use and maintenance of required tools.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Clean driving record.
• Basic computer skills, ability to use an iPad to document work.
• Ability to speak, read, and write fluently in English.

Responsibilities

• Perform timely and accurate repairs to resolve plumbing and drain issues.
• Explain to the customer what service is being performed and give exact prices and gain approval before doing the work.
• Establish customer rapport to sell the right products and services for the customer’s needs and wants.
• Install and repair plumbing systems, equipment, and fixtures.
• Ensure compliance with local plumbing codes and regulations.
• Educate and assist customers in choosing best finance options and maintenance plans.
• Show professionalism to win referrals and repeat business.
• Maintain your truck neat and clean inside and out.
• Work with Customer Service and Dispatch for overall success.
