We are seeking Plumbing Designers and Engineers with AutoCAD experience to design Waste/Vent, Water Piping, Isometrics, Gas Schematics, Fire Sprinklers and Site Plumbing for single- and multi-family projects.

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 3+ years' plumbing design experience for residential building systems.
• Experience with Waste/Vent, Water Piping, Isometrics, Gas Schematic, Fire Sprinklers, and Site Plumbing.
• Experience with mid-rise multifamily buildings, mixed-use buildings, and parking garages.

Responsibilities

• Produce Waste/Vent Design and Water Piping in AutoCAD.
• Create Isometrics, Gas Schematics, Fire Sprinklers and Site Plumbing drawings.
• Prepare Construction Documents in AutoCAD for bidding and construction.
• Coordinate with design staff and drafters to complete projects.

General Overview Of Position ARCXIS is seeking Plumbing Designers and Engineers with a wide range of experience who are skilled in Plumbing Design and Engineering of residential structures. This includes many aspects of the production of Waste/Vent Designs, Water Piping, Isometrics, Gas Schematics, Fire Sprinklers, and Site Plumbing in AutoCAD. Plumbing Designers and Engineers collaborate and partner across all disciplines to ensure the highest level of cross-disciplined design integration for a one stop shop solution to our partners residential design needs.

Essential Functions Of The Job

• Job duties will be to produce Waste/Vent Design, Water Piping, Isometrics, Gas Schematic, Fire Sprinklers, and Site Plumbing in AutoCAD
• Plumbing Engineering and Design of single- and multi-family, low- and high-rise residential design plans
• Generate detailed Plumbing Design drawings in AutoCAD for construction documentation of design plans for bidding and construction
• Prepare Construction Documents in AutoCAD
• Work with design staff and drafters to complete project

Requirements

Education, Experience, and Qualifications:

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent comparative experience.
• Preferred 3+ years’ experience in Plumbing Design for residential building systems, code compliance, and construction.
• Plumbing Design experience with production of Waste/Vent Design, Water Piping, Isometrics, Gas Schematic, Fire Sprinklers, and Site Plumbing.
• Plumbing Design experience with mid-rise multifamily buildings, mixed use buildings, residential and enclosed parking garages.

Work Schedule

Monday – Friday day shift, however additional hours, including weekend hours, may be required in accordance with changing business needs.
