Job summary

Ace Hardware Corporation in New Jersey is seeking an experienced plumber for residential service. You will diagnose leaks, repair water heaters, install water treatment systems, and maintain a clean, fully stocked truck while delivering high‑quality workmanship.

The role requires at least 5 years of residential plumbing experience, a positive attitude, clean driving record, and flexibility to work late when needed. A sign-on bonus of up to $6,000 is offered.

• At least 5 years experience in residential service.

• A deep understanding of plumbing equipment.

• Clean driving record.
• Ability to work late when the job at hand requires it.

Responsibilities

• Service new and existing customers to provide a customized solution to fix the issue at hand.
• Serve as a leader in the plumbing field to ensure customer satisfaction
• Provide customers with solutions for their Plumbing and Water Treatment systems
• Follow-up with existing estimates to offer any additional information as needed to convert them into sales
• Diagnosing; leaks, drain clogs, no water, no hot water, low water pressure, etc.
• Repairing/replacing broken pipes, faucets, water heaters, sump pumps, disposals, drain lines, shower valves, etc
• Emphasize benefits such as warranties, years in business, quality of service, and financing options
• Installing water treatment systems, gas piping, etc.
• Maintain an orderly, clean, and fully stocked company truck.
