R. A. Hoy Team is seeking a Residential Service Plumber to deliver high-quality repairs, installations, and maintenance for our residential customers. You will work from a fully stocked company vehicle, troubleshoot issues, and provide clear guidance to customers to help them make informed decisions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of residential plumbing service and repair experience.
• Journeyman licence strongly preferred.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.
• Ability to work independently in a company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and perform diagnostics, repairs, and installations for residential plumbing.
• Communicate findings and options clearly to customers and provide maintenance tips.
• Install and service fixtures, water heaters, and drainage systems while following codes.
• Maintain safety, quality standards, and keep a tidy work area.

What You'll Do

As a Residential Service Plumber, you will serve as a trusted technical expert for our residential customers, delivering high-quality repairs, installations, and maintenance.

• Troubleshoot & Resolve: Perform expert diagnostic, service, and repair work—including leak detection, drain clearing, fixture replacements, pipe repairs, and water heater servicing.

• Guide Customers: Clearly communicate finding, options, and preventative maintenance tips to customers, helping them make confident decisions.

• Maintain Quality & Safety: Ensure all installations and repairs strictly follow local plumbing codes, safety guidelines, and company quality standards.

• Manage Calls Efficiently: Work independently out of a fully stocked company vehicle while delivering clean, efficient, and professional service.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: Minimum 5 years of residential plumbing service and repair experience (Journeyman licence strongly preferred).

• Technical Mastery: Deep understanding of residential plumbing systems, tools, diagnostics, and local codes.

• Clean Driving Record: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving history.

• Customer Focus: Strong communication skills and a commitment to providing a 5-star customer experience.
