RESIDENTIAL PLUMBER

Our plumbing company has experienced continued growth throughout the years, and we need to add more residential plumbers. Salary is $25-$35 an hour, dependent on experience. You will not be considered for this position without a resume OR residential plumbing experience. Job Summary

The residential plumber will install, repair, and maintain pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures in residential and commercial structures.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Work carefully to follow all current regulations for plumbing work to ensure all installed systems pass inspections.
• Communicate with dispatch, your manager, parts, and installation teams.
• Manage a work log.
• Ability to complete paperwork, collect customer payments and effectively communicate.
• Skilled in the use of hand and power tools used in the plumbing trade.
• Ability to complete various plumbing tasks, i.e., solder, climb a ladder, lift, utilize sewer machines, dig, work in tight spaces, work indoors/outdoors, and in inclement weather.
• Ability to complete projects unsupervised and unassisted, all while being accomplished in a safe and effective manner.
• Lead customers to informed and confident buying decisions by providing an extraordinary customer experience.

Required Skills/Abilities

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in client and co-worker relations.
• Strong time management, organizational and analytical skills.
• Work independently and collaboratively with a team, suppliers, vendors, and customers.
• Comprehensive knowledge in installations, maintenance, and repairs of pipelines and fixtures associated with heating, cooling, water distribution, and sanitation systems in residential and commercial structures.

• Must be available for on-call rotation, which includes weekends.
