Job summary

The Terminix International Company Limited Partnership is seeking a Pest Control Technician to provide industry-leading pest management services for residential customers. You will conduct inspections, apply approved products, educate customers on prevention, and build lasting client relationships in a full-time role.

Responsibilities include driving a company vehicle, maintaining equipment, and adhering to safety standards and regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Licenses and certificates as required by regulations.
• Availability to work Monday–Friday and weekends as needed.
• Willingness to learn pest control areas and safety procedures.
• Solid reading, writing, and verbal communication skills.
• Basic math skills for following product label instructions.
• Customer-facing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections to identify pest signs, damage, and entry points.
• Apply approved pest control products, including substances, baits, and traps, in accordance with safety standards.
• Educate customers on pest prevention and maintain a pest-free environment.
• Offer advice to reduce future infestation risks.
• Build customer relationships, schedule appointments, and assist with sales to existing and new clients.
• Maintain, stock, and ensure all equipment is in good working order.
• Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations regarding pest control products and safety protocols.
• Drive and safely operate a company-provided service vehicle (with routine maintenance).
