Good Life Pest Solutions in North Highlands, CA is seeking a Pest Control Technician to conduct thorough home inspections, diagnose pest issues, and apply pesticides in compliance with label instructions and regulations. This full-time, non-exempt role requires a valid California applicator license and a clean driving record.

You will install traps, communicate treatment plans to customers, maintain equipment, and participate in safety meetings.

Qualifications

• Active and valid State Pest Control Applicator License for residential services.
• Working knowledge of residential pest types, behaviors, and treatment methods.
• Ability to safely handle and apply chemical pesticides.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers effectively.
• Good record-keeping skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively across a daily service route.
• Physical ability to lift equipment (up to 50 pounds) and access confined spaces.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of homes to identify pest activity and entry points.
• Diagnose pest issues and determine appropriate control measures.
• Apply pesticides and other pest control methods per label instructions and regulations.
• Install pest control devices such as traps and bait stations as needed.
• Communicate findings and treatment plans to customers.
• Complete service documentation accurately and on time.
• Maintain equipment and vehicles in a clean, organized manner.
• Attend safety and training meetings and follow safety protocols.
