Job summary

Rentokil North America is seeking a Pest Control Technician to perform residential pest management services, including inspecting properties, applying treatments, and advising customers on prevention. You will work closely with clients, schedule visits, and help grow service adoption, while maintaining equipment and safety standards.

The role requires physical work in local climates, adherence to regulations, and the ability to operate company vehicles when needed. Training is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid driver’s license required; state residence license maintained as needed.
• Licenses/certificates as required by federal, state and local regulations.
• Available to work Monday–Friday and weekends as needed.
• Strong reading, writing and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of client properties to identify signs of pest infestations and entry points.
• Apply approved pest control products, including chemicals and traps, safely and effectively.
• Educate customers on pest prevention and ongoing maintenance.
• Build relationships with customers, schedule/confirm appointments, and assist sales to current and new customers.
• Maintain pest control equipment and adhere to safety regulations.
