Job summary

Rentokil North America, Inc. seeks a Pest Control Technician to perform residential pest management, inspections, and treatments while advising clients on prevention. You will work in various homes, follow safety protocols, and maintain equipment.

The role includes driving a company vehicle and meeting regulatory standards. The position emphasizes customer interaction, reliability in scheduling, and the ability to educate clients on effective pest prevention strategies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive a company vehicle.
• Licenses/certificates as required by regulations (covered by us).
• Able to work Monday–Friday and weekends as needed.
• Strong reading/writing and verbal communication skills.
• Customer-facing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of client properties to identify pest signs and entry points.
• Apply approved pest control products, including chemicals, baits, and traps, safely.
• Educate customers on prevention methods and future risk reduction.
• Build relationships with customers, schedule/confirm appointments and assist sales.
• Ensure pest control equipment is maintained, stocked, and functional.
• Adhere to local, state, and federal regulations and safety protocols.
• Drive and operate a company-provided service vehicle.
