Job summary

Rentokil North America, Inc. is seeking a Pest Control Technician to perform professional pest management for residential properties. You will inspect properties, identify pests, apply treatments, and provide preventative advice to clients.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work Monday to Friday and weekends. PPE and safety training provided, with opportunities for growth within a national leader in pest control.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Possess a valid driver’s license.
• Licenses/certificates as required by regulations (provided by employer).
• Available to work Monday-Friday and weekends as needed.
• Open to learning pest control disciplines.
• Strong reading, writing, and verbal communication skills.
• Customer-facing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of client properties to identify signs of pest infestations and entry points.
• Apply approved pest control products, including chemicals, baits, and traps, to eliminate pests safely.
• Educate customers on pest prevention methods and how to reduce future risks.
• Build relationships with customers, schedule/confirm appointments, and assist with sales to current and new customers.
• Ensure pest control equipment is maintained, stocked, and working.
• Adhere to local, state, and federal regulations on products and safety practices.
• Drive and operate a company-provided service vehicle.
