Job summary

Rentokil North America is hiring a Pest Control Technician to perform residential pest management services. You will inspect properties, apply treatments, educate clients, and help prevent future infestations. The role requires safety-conscious work in various settings and regular customer interaction.

Base pay is hourly, $18.00-$20.00, with full-time benefits starting day one. Must have a HS diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license; weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.
• Licenses/certificates as required by regulations.
• Available to work Monday–Friday and weekends.
• Solid reading, writing, and verbal communication skills.
• Basic math skills and ability to follow product label instructions.
• Customer-facing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of client properties to identify pest signs.
• Apply approved pest control products, baits, and traps safely.
• Educate customers on prevention methods and pest-free practices.
• Provide advice to reduce recurrence of infestations.
• Build relationships with customers and help schedule appointments.
• Assist with sales to current customers and expand to new customers.
• Maintain pest control equipment and ensure proper operation.
• Follow local, state, and federal regulations on pest control products and safety.
• Safely operate a company-provided service vehicle.
