Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a field technician to perform residential pest management services and identify/eliminate pests in homes. You will inspect properties, apply approved products safely, and educate customers on prevention.

The role involves building customer relationships, scheduling visits, and supporting sales to current and new customers. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, and comfort with basic math for product mixing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Solid reading, writing, and verbal communication skills.
• Basic math skills — follow instructions for mixing on product labels.
• Customer-facing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform pest management services for residential customers.
• Identify and eliminate pests from residential properties.
• Inspect client properties for signs of infestations, damage, and entry points.
• Apply approved pest control products safely and effectively.
• Educate customers on pest prevention and maintaining a pest-free environment.
• Provide advice to reduce the risk of future infestations.
• Build relationships with customers, schedule and confirm appointments, assist with sales to current customers, and expand to new customers.
• Ensure pest control equipment is maintained, stocked, and operational.
• Drive and operate a company-provided service vehicle safely.
