The Terminix International Company Limited Partnership is seeking a Pest Control Technician to perform residential pest management services across the Pottsville area. You will identify pest infestations, apply treatments, and communicate effective prevention strategies to customers.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and strong communication skills. The role requires safety awareness, reliable transportation, and flexibility to work a variety of hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Solid reading, writing and verbal communication skills.
• Basic math skills; ability to follow mixing instructions on product labels.
• Valid driver’s license from state of residence.
• Licenses/certificates as required by regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of client properties to identify signs of pest infestations and entry points.
• Apply approved pest control products (chemicals, baits, traps) safely and effectively.
• Educate customers on pest prevention and the importance of a pest-free environment.
• Build relationships with customers and schedule/confirm appointments; assist with sales as needed.
