Keefe's A/C, Heating, and Electrical in the New Orleans area seeks an experienced Master Electrician to diagnose, repair, and install residential electrical systems while delivering exceptional customer service. Responsibilities include residential installations and upgrades, reading plans and schematics, ensuring safety and code compliance, and mentoring other technicians.

Qualifications

• Master Electrician license valid and current.
• Minimum 5 years of residential electrical experience.
• Clean driving record and valid driver's license.
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes and permitting.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential electrical systems.
• Perform residential electrical installations, repairs, upgrades, and panel installations.
• Ensure all electrical work is completed safely and in accordance with codes.
• Serve as a knowledgeable electrical resource for customers and team.
• Educate customers on electrical issues and recommended solutions.
• Bid, sell, and negotiate residential electrical jobs.

What You'll Do:

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential electrical systems.
• Perform residential electrical installations, repairs, upgrades, and panel installations
• Ensure all electrical work is completed safely, professionally, and in accordance with applicable codes and regulations
• Serve as a knowledgeable electrical resource for customers, technicians, and management
• Educate customers on electrical issues and recommend appropriate solutions
• Accurately bid, sell, and negotiate residentialelectrical jobs
• Read and interpret, electrical plans, and wiring schematics
• Maintain clear communication with dispatch, managers, customers, and installation teams
• Complete all required paperwork and documentation accurately and timely
• Maintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked company vehicle
• Keep inventory up to date and communicate equipment or material needs
• Maintain a professional appearance and deliver an exceptional customer experience
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and applicable electrical codes

What We're Looking For:

• Valid and current Master Electrician License required
• Minimum of 5 years of residential electrical experience
• Valid Drivers Liense
• Strong understanding of applicable electrical codes, regulations, and permitting requirements
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Clean driving record and professional appearance
• Ability to work independently while also functioning effectively as part of a team
• Willingness to participate in ongoing training and professional development
