Residential Care Manager – In‑Home Caregiving

Chrysalis is seeking a full‑time or part‑time Residential Care Manager for in‑home caregiving. This entry‑level swing shift position offers competitive wages of $19.50–$22.50 per hour depending on experience, with full‑time employees eligible for a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, flexibility and a rewarding experience.

Summary of Responsibilities

As House Manager, you will oversee the day‑to‑day operation of the residential program, supervise, instruct, model, and assist residential support staff, enforce quality standards, implement person‑centered plans, and coordinate with schools, state workers, families, therapists, court and residential placement staff. You will ensure staff ratios and training are met, support residents’ medical, financial, and recreational needs, and promote the five Chrysalis values: Respect, Safety, Fun, Mentoring, and Accountability.

Minimum Qualifications
  • 20 years of age or older with a high school diploma or GED
  • Experience in the disability field
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated supervisory experience, ability to prioritize work, and complete program documentation accurately and timely
  • Good judgment and ability to handle crisis situations
  • Good public relations skills with outside professionals and state employees
  • Flexible schedule to accommodate client needs
  • Ability to manage personnel and program issues and continually improve program quality and profitability
