Job summary

Lutheran Social Services of WI & UP MI is seeking a Residential Maintenance Technician to support safe, comfortable housing for clients in our residential programs. In this field-based role, you’ll perform routine and emergency maintenance across multiple sites, including basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and room turns.

You’ll conduct inspections, complete work orders, maintain tools and supplies, and coordinate with vendors while following safety, licensing, and building codes.

Qualifications

• Maintenance experience preferred in multi-site facilities.
• Knowledge of safety, building codes and compliance requirements.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a care team.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and emergency maintenance across multiple sites.
• Conduct inspections and complete work orders in a timely manner.
• Maintain tools, supplies and organize inventory.
• Coordinate with vendors for services and repairs as needed.
• Follow safety protocols and licensing requirements; minimize resident disruption.
