Job summary

New Era Security Services Inc. is hiring a Security Officer to secure residential lobby access and conduct foot patrols across various sites. You will provide excellent customer service, follow post orders, respond to incidents, and keep detailed activity logs.

Position requires age minimums, a valid security guard license, and the ability to pass a drug test as required by contract. Driving roles require a valid driver's license and DMV checks.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent or prior security experience.
• Must possess a valid security guard license.
• Drug test may be required depending on client site and contract requirements.
• New York state requires a valid security guard license with UID prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to our clients.
• Follow company and site-specific post orders, including emergency post orders.
• Respond to incidents.
• Conduct inside and outside foot patrols.
• Write reports.
• Keep daily activity logs up to date, written or typed.
• Perform customer service and access control duties.
