TruGreen’s Pittsburgh East team in Monroeville, PA is hiring a Residential Lawn Care Technician. You will manage an assigned route, apply lawn care treatments, and provide exceptional service to homeowners.

This role includes paid training, state certification, and growth opportunities with a national leader in lawn care. Applicants must be 21+, have a valid license, pass MVR/background checks, and be fluent in English.

Competenze

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from work
• Ability to pass MVR and background check
• Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card
• High school diploma or GED
• Fluent English in reading, writing and speaking

No lawn care experience? No problem. We'll provide paid training, hands‑on coaching, and company‑paid certification so you can build the skills needed to succeed.

What You'll Do

• Drive a company vehicle on an assigned route (must be able to become DOT certified)
• Applying lawn care treatments to residential and commercial properties
• Identify customer needs and recommend solutions and additional services
• Managing your route and customer information using a tablet
• Building relationships with customers and delivering exceptional service
• Work outdoors in a fast‑paced, independent environment safely

What To Expect

• Walking an average 10-12 miles outdoors throughout the day
• Lifting and moving materials up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Operating equipment safely
• Serving multiple customers each day

What You'll Need

• Must be at least 21 years old at the time of hire
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from work
• Ability to pass MVR and comfortable consenting to a criminal background check
• Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation
• High school diploma or GED
• Reliable, self‑motivated, customer‑focused mindset
• Ability to speak, read, and write English fluently
• Ability to speak, read and write fluently in English is required.
• You must be physically located in the United States while performing this job.
