TruGreen Lincoln is hiring a Residential Lawn Care Technician to service homes across Greater Lincoln. This role works outdoors, manages your own route, and delivers lawn care treatments while building a local customer base.

Paid training and company-funded certification are provided; starting pay is $17.00 per hour with opportunities for overtime, bonuses, and a clear path for career growth within the Lincoln Star City Branch.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 19 years old at hire.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass MVR and background checks.
• Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Drive a company vehicle on an assigned route.
• Apply lawn care treatments to residential properties.
• Identify customer needs and recommend solutions and additional services.
• Manage route and customer information using a tablet.
• Build relationships with customers and deliver excellent service.
• Work outdoors in a fast-paced, independent environment safely.

What You'll Do

• Drive a company vehicle on an assigned route (must be able to become DOT certified)

What To Expect

• Walking an average of 10-12 miles outdoors throughout the day
• Lifting and moving materials up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Operating equipment safely
• Serving multiple customers each day

What You'll Need

• Must be at least 19 years old at the time of hire
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from work
• Ability to pass MVR and comfortable consenting to a criminal background check
• Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation
• High school diploma or GED
• Reliable, self-motivated, customer-focused mindset
• Ability to speak, read, and write English fluently
