Job summary

Renuity is hiring a journeyman plumber to join our Chicago-area team. You will read blueprints, lay out pipe runs, rough-in and finish installations, and ensure all work meets code.

With a company-provided gas card, paid drive time, and comprehensive benefits, you’ll work on real homes in a nationally recognized brand environment. A valid journeyman license and 5+ years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Active Journeyman Plumbing license in the posted state.
• 5+ years of relevant trade experience.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing service/repair and construction safety standards.
• Reliable, consistent attendance and on-time performance.
• Clear written and verbal communication; professional customer interaction.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and building specs to lay out pipe runs, drain/waste/vent systems, and fixture locations.
• Rough-in and finish: install pipes and fixtures; assemble valves and fittings; cut/modify pipe lengths as needed.
• Conduct system inspections to ensure quality, code compliance, and proactive replacement of worn or damaged parts.

• Base pay: $55/hour
