Job summary

Destination Homes seeks an Interior Designer to support the design team in maintaining and advancing our brand through interior and exterior design across communities. You will help develop elevations, finish palettes, and presentation materials while collaborating with Directors, Sales, Drafting, Preconstruction, Marketing, Purchasing and external partners.

The role emphasizes strong organization, detail orientation, and the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight timelines, including

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in interior design, architecture, design, or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of residential design experience or related homebuilding/construction work.
• Ability to read floor plans, elevations, and finish schedules.

Responsibilities

• Support design team with finish selections and palette documentation.
• Design and render exterior color schemes for submittal following guidelines.
• Enter finishes and palette data into internal software on time.
• Re-select materials when products are discontinued and coordinate with Purchasing.
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to keep look books current.
